Dynit, with a post on his Facebook page, announced the arrival, in high definition, of two anime series much loved by the Italian public: Well the human monster is Inuyasha.
This is the first time that these two anime are released in Blu-ray format, collector’s editions that will be available starting in September.
Bem the human monster and Inuyasha for the first time in Italy in HD
As revealed by the same company, Bem will be released in a unique box set, while the first release of InuYasha will include seasons 1 and 2.
Bem – The Human monster
The original anime, with its dark and disturbing settings, was the first true horror anime to arrive on Italian TV with its content of stories and threatening and terrifying details on the verge of splatter.
The issues addressed caused numerous problems already in Japan and Well the human monster when it arrived in Italy in 1982, it was partially censored due to the contents considered too gory and horror, a genre until then reserved only for an adult audience, despite the themes addressed in the 26 episodes were of a noble nature such as justice, compassion and defense of the weakest.
After the first airing, it will take almost 20 years to find Bem on the screens when, after acquiring the rights, Dynit re-doubled the anime in the early 2000s for publication on DVD and broadcast on MTV.
Bem, Bera and Bero are humanoid monsters (yōkai) who fight for good against demonic forces. Animated by a strong sense of justice and innate loyalty, the three try to protect humans from the real monsters that live among them.
Although persecuted, despised and marginalized because of their terrifying appearance, Bem, Bera and Bero continue to fight defending men from evil, in the hope that one day they too can finally become human.
Taken from the manga of the same name by the genius Rumiko Takahashi (published in Italy by Edizioni Star Comics), Inuyasha is one of the most popular anime of all time
The young Kagome Higurashi, a normal middle school student, is thrown in spite of herself in the Sengoku era, and is promptly rescued by the elderly Kaede, who seems to recognize her as her late sister Kikyo, a valiant priestess who disappeared fifty years earlier.
However, the village in which they are found is suddenly attacked by a frightening demon of the horrible aspect of a woman-centipede, in search of a mystical jewel in the possession of the unconscious Kagome, who is thus forced to a desperate escape that will lead her to cross the street of Inuyasha, a strange boy with silver hair and a curious pair of canine ears.
