What is the point of a floor scrubber vacuum cleaner?
As the name suggests, the mop vacuum can both vacuum and clean floors. Unlike a conventional vacuum cleaner which then requires mopping, you save time but also space because you only need to use one device for your household. The cleaning is done thoroughly.
The most advanced vacuum cleaners and scrubbers allow dust and dirt to be sucked up, before cleaning either with water or with steam to finish by drying the floor with hot air. Generally, the action of water is sufficient on its own, but if necessary, you can add detergent. Some models also have built-in brushes that help loosen encrusted dirt.
The dirty water sucked in then goes to the dirty water tank. Depending on the model chosen, your floor cleaning vacuum cleaner can self-clean once back on its base.
If your water is very calcareous, to avoid scaling, you can add an anti-limescale filter or a little white vinegar to your tank. You can also use softened but not demineralised water.
