The manufacturer Logitech obviously thought of those for whom compactness is the primary argument for a wireless mouse. The Logitech MX Anywhere 3 aims to offer the same quality of experience as its big sister, but in a much more compact and very light format at only 99 grams. While the mouse doesn’t hug the hand as much, it still sits most naturally in the palm and is comfortable even over long sessions.
There is a long battery life, two programmable buttons and above all the range’s signature magnetic wheel. Logitech does plug’n’play and comfort of use: its MX Anywhere 3 is the perfect representative.

If you are looking above all for a mouse that won’t take up any space in your office briefcase, the Microsoft Surface Mobile is the one for you. It is somehow the heir to the “credit card” format of Microsoft’s previous trial, which was not very comfortable but had the merit of slipping everywhere.
Here, we have more or less the best of both worlds. Its incredibly flat format makes it very easy to slip into any location in a bag, even a pocket, without any problems. And at 78 grams, you’ll never feel this addition to your rig. But it remains a more traditional format, and therefore easier to handle.
You will of course have to get used to this very flat profile, but it still offers a much better experience than a touchpad.

Portable, but without sacrificing precision? This is where the Razer Atheris comes in. Naturally, the gamer brand offers its excellent ultra-precise sensor on this wireless mouse, which will allow demanding players to find the same performance even on the move.
Well, at least if you plug in the USB dongle. In Bluetooth, it will behave like a conventional mouse. Both options are perfect for working in the afternoon, and clicking heads in the evening at the hotel! The Razer Atheris also inherits good traits from gaming mice, such as its ambidextrous and ergonomic design as well as its programmable keys.

Which mouse to use with an iPad?
Most Bluetooth wireless mice are natively compatible with an iPad running iPadOS. Note that you can also enjoy the Magic Trackpad 2 on Apple’s tablet.
Bluetooth mouse or mouse with USB dongle?
Bluetooth mice work most of the time without the need for a USB key, since the standard is integrated into the devices. Mice with a USB dongle usually use another wireless technology, such as Wi-Fi Direct. The advantage of a dongle with Wi-Fi Direct is that it is more accurate, but it takes up one more port on your device. If you have problems with disconnection or precision, choose a mouse with a dongle. Otherwise, Bluetooth is fine.
On Windows or macOS, all you have to do is switch the mouse to pairing mode (consult your product manual to find out how), open the Bluetooth options and click on your mouse which appears. Thereafter, you will no longer need to repeat the process.
