Black Adam, in fact, was supposed to debut in theaters on December 22 of this year but, after the various postponements of the DC productions, its release date has been postponed to July 29, 2022.
Antihero of the DC Comics Universe, he is the enemy of Shazam! so much so that the appearance of the character played by Dwayne Johnson was already foreseen in the first film with Zachary Levi in 2019, only to receive a “promotion” with a film entirely dedicated to him.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows, The Commuter) which followed the script signed by Adam Sztykiel (Rampage, Scoob), the cinecomic is produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia And Beau Flynn.
In addition to Johnson, the cast of the film also consists of Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo And Quintess Swindell, all interpreters of members of the Justice Society of America.
