In mid-June, IFEMA hosted the Spain Legal Expo, the fair for law and legal sector. The Pitch Competition of the branch organized by AticcoLab was looking for the most innovative legaltech startup so that six finalists would be presented at the Spain Legal Expo and one of them would be declared the winner. The selection criteria for the finalists have been based on the level of innovation, viability, business model and social impact.
The winner was Brickken, which is dedicated to transform the assets of companies into tokensgiving them access to the entire web ecosystem 3. According to Edwin Mata, CEO of Brickken, “we want to be the maximum exponent of digitization of a company. With our work, companies can have new financing flows through the so-called security token offerings, thus also becoming an alternative financing tool, which we can call crowdfunding 3.0”.
Other finalists
Together with Brickken, after the call for entries closed on June 5, the following finalists were announced on June 9, who also gave their pitch in the competition. These startups are:
- cap board: SaaS that allows companies to import their cap table, invite their partners and investors, centralize document management (deeds, contracts…) and automate the management of incentive plans.
- Kuorum: SaaS to create secure and personalized online voting platforms. Kuorum accompanies the client throughout the process and allows him to design online voting with a technology that offers all the guarantees of legal validity.
- Lawyers for your debts: B2C technology that generates and automates the necessary documents to prepare the debt cancellation file in an easy, fast and secure way.
- certified payments: The first digital platform that allows you to carry out agreements online, digitally sign the contractual document, receive payment and thus certify the agreement, to reach judicial or extrajudicial agreements.
- Youforget.me: B2B technological platform developed for professionals that automates the prevention of the digital footprint as well as the management and control of the digital privacy of clients.
