It’s official, Brother has unveiled its new RJ-3200 series of thermal label and ticket printers, a generation that is shaping up to be the successor to the RJ-3050 and RJ-3150 series, and which adopts the 3 inch format. According to the Japanese company, this new generation is designed to offer greater productivity, high flexibility and high autonomy, three keys that are essential in a portable printer.
Brother’s RJ-3200 series consists of two models, the RJ-3230BL and the RJ-3250WBL. They both have IP54 certification, which means they are dust and water resistant, and they also have a military resistance certification, which means they are prepared to survive harsh work environments, and drops from a height of up to 2 meters.
Brother has also confirmed that this new generation has an intelligent battery, which is capable of offering high autonomy and covering, without problems, a working day. This also represents an important value, since it translates into smoother, uninterrupted work cycles.
At the specification level, the Brother RJ-3200 series has USB Type-C connectivity for charging and cable data transmission, as well as Bluetooth MFI (made for iOS), AirPrint, NFC and Ethernet LAN. The RJ-3250WBL model also has Wifi. They are also compatible with the main label design and management programs, such as Bartender, SOTI, Loftware (Nicelabel), TEKLYNX and SAP.
