The company specialized in printing, identification and digitization solutions, Brother, has decided expand its range of products.
You recently created a new industrial label printer TJ with the new TJ-4005DNas the entry model of a range that has been designed for those environments that need to produce high volumes and in which efficiency in the key processes.
This launch represents a further step in the company’s strategy of covering the daily needs of industrial labeling in all types of sectors, through a new model with direct thermal technology that offers the same benefits as the rest of the solutions in the range, but in a more affordable way and with a printing speed of 152mm/sec and a resolution of 203dpi. In this way, it becomes the ideal solution for environments with large production volumes that need to speed up processes at a more affordable price.
Robust and compact design
The new TJ-4005DN printer also presents the robust and compact design that characterizes the equipment of the entire TJ series. To reduce downtime and thus optimize employee productivity, the solution offers side-loading of supplies, supports high-capacity supplies, and easy printhead and roller replacement. In this way, users will be able to spend their time on activities that are more critical to the business, instead of activities related to printing labels.
Likewise, its integration is simple thanks to all the printing languages that it supports, such as FBPL-EZD (EPL2, ZPL2, DPL), and it is compatible with some of the leading label generation programs on the market – such as BarTender, for the design and the edition of labels and barcodes –, thus allowing to increase the efficiency of the daily activities of the employees.
Like the rest of the models in the range, it includes extensive connectivity as standard: USB, USB Host, serial and wired network, and even WiFi as an optional accessory. Additionally, a cutter or peeler can be added, thus adapting to all processes of any type of business.
With this new addition, Brother offers a very complete range of semi-industrial and industrial printers with different options for speed, printing technology and resolution with a common denominator: productivity, robustness and reliability.
In addition, all Brother industrial label printers include a three-year warranty as standard or up to a maximum mileage, which also extends to the heads and rollers, which means great reliability. In turn, a warranty extension can be made to extend the term or level of service. Specifically, the onsite extension means that service technicians can be onsite within 48 hours1 to ensure printers are up and running again, which in turn reduces downtime.
