Although the price of graphics cards is falling, they are still quite prohibitively expensive. An interesting option is to search second-hand pages, such as Wallapop, for ‘old’ graphics cards. This graphics card, combined with a Core i7-2700K, it can exceed 200 FPS in 1080p resolution. About the Intel Core i7-2700K processor, this was released in 2013 and has 4 cores and 8 threads. This processor works at a frequency of 3.5GHz and in Boost mode it can reach 3.9GHz. Note that this processor supports up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM.
For this combination of graphics and processor we put 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD and we have equipment to spend a long time. It is not necessary to have an RTX 3090 Ti or a processor that works at a “gigabost” frequency to play LoL.
What is the performance of this graphics in the game?
As always, performance will vary depending on the chosen graphic quality and resolution. The good thing about this graphic to play LoL is that we can exceed 200 FPS in 1080p resolution or bin 60 FPS in 2160p resolution (the so-called 4K). We will be able to play at high resolutions without major problems, at least in principle.
