It has now been almost 2 months since Canal+ stopped broadcasting the TF1 group channels. As a reminder, the encrypted channel had notably declared that the front page exploited its dominant position to demand the payment of excessive remuneration for its free channels. The TF1, LCI, TMC, TFX and TF1 Series Film channels were therefore no longer accessible to the 2 million subscribers to the Canal+ TNT Sat satellite servicepending an agreement.

In the midst of its showdown with the TF1 group, the channels having decided to settle the case in court, the Canal+ group had successfully renewed its broadcasting agreement with M6. Faced with the rise of competition and a significant drop in audience, the situation of TF1 became catastrophic. The group had nevertheless been able to count on the help of Orange a few weeks ago, and finally seems to see the end of the tunnel.
