The problem of vanishing drivers
One of the problems that Windows 10 has is its driver repository, if our system is too old, then we will find that suddenly we will see how the operating system does not have the driver in the driver repository. The reason? The manufacturer has ended technical support and if we find ourselves in the position of having to reinstall everything we can suddenly find ourselves with a series of drivers that we previously had insured, no longer.
And what consequences does this have? Well several, we can find that things like the sound card on the motherboard, the wireless connection or even things like the small temperature sensor stop working. And all because of the fact that one fine day the manufacturer of our laptop has deleted, who knows why, certain drivers from the repository. An example is what has happened to a server with its already veteran laptop, where after a reinstallation of the operating system it is impossible for it to find certain drivers in the repository.
That is, suddenly I find that a series of devices without a driver appear, Windows cannot find them and they are not listed on the manufacturer’s website. However, some research tells me that they are essential motherboard drivers. Why didn’t Windows miss them before and now they do? Due to the fact that I had them on hand. Let’s not forget that each device has an identification code that allows the correct drivers to be used.

The other big problem we have is the fact that since manufacturers wash their hands of drivers when it comes to drivers, they let others be in charge of creating old driver repositories. The problem? As soon as they can’t pay for the server they are lost forever. And the problem is further exacerbated at a time when many devices are sold without the serial drivers. The answer? You can download them from the internet, but as soon as they disappear from the network of networks we can definitely say goodbye to them.
The funny thing is that before they used to be included in the product box, but with the disappearance of optical readers in computers they have fallen into disuse. The normal thing would be to include a small MicroSD card or a low-capacity Pendrive in which the manufacturer included a collection of drivers for its products. Not only of that one in particular, although they would not be updated, it would already be something.
