Capcom asks players what the next Resident Evil Remake should be

The Japanese company has reaped a huge success with the Resident Evil Remake seriesa franchise with which Capcom has been complementing the new titles within it, Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village, and which has allowed younger players to catch up and relive some of the most important moments in the history of this saga.

Resident Evil 4 Remake It has been the last installment that Capcom has released so far within its series of remakes, and the truth is that it has lived up to it. It is true that at a graphic level a development limited to the current generation would have been much better, but despite everything Capcom did a good job and the final result was very good.

However, I still think that the best remakes that the Japanese company has done so far are the revision of the first Resident Evil that came to Nintendo GameCube, and Resident Evil 2 Remake, which came to PS4, Xbox One and PCand that had a small revision for PS5 and Xbox Series X-Series S.

We know that Capcom is working on a new installment that will follow the main line of the franchise, that is, in a resident evil 9, and the first rumors say that it will be called ┬źApocalypse┬╗, but at the moment we have no details about its history or about its possible setting. On the other hand, it is also confirmed that Capcom will continue to rescue previous installments of the franchise and that will give them a second life in the form of remakes.

In this sense, we can highlight something very curious, and that is that Capcom continues to ask players what titles from this well-known saga they would like to see in a new Resident Evil Remake. It is clear that Resident Evil 4 was one of the most desired, and it is totally normal that it came after Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 Remake, but what do you think should be next?

Personally I have it quite clear, I think that Capcom should make a remake of the first Resident Evil, and that ideally it would start from the base of the GameCube remake. Next on my list would be Resident Evil Code Veronica, an authentic jewel that would be wonderfully suited to the jump to the RE Engine graphics engine. Now it’s your turn we read in the comments.
