You can celebrate, red-black nation, because Flamengo is the newest champion of the CBLoL Academy. Or rather, three-time champion. By beating paiN Gaming by 3×2 played last Saturday (16), the team reached its third consecutive League of Legends secondary championship title.
The path to the cup, however, was not easy. Fla was only in the fifth position of the points stage of the CBLoL Academy and, therefore, had to beat FURIA (3×1) in the quarterfinals before beating the favorite LOUD (3×1) in the semifinals.
Already in the big decision, Fla had the support of the fans who attended the Arena to beat paiN Gaming in a series beyond dispute. The result keeps the red-blacks as Academy’s only champions since the tournament was created in 2021.

Talking about the final, it was a very disputed series. The first match showed an extremely fast-paced Flamengo and a slower paced paiN Gaming. Maybe that’s why Fla opened 4 thousand gold in the 15th minute, which helped to finish the game at 33.
But paiN woke up in the second game. With much more initiative – and support from the fans –, the Traditionals made a good game and gave GG in just 26 minutes. The first two games of the CBLoL Academy final already gave indications of how the series would be played. And it was.

Flamengo took the lead again in the third game, especially Aatrox from SuperCleber. But repeating the keynote, paiN Gaming did not give up and returned to tie the series in the fourth game, leaving the decision for the last and fifth game.
Speaking of which, the match started extremely disputed: while paiN focused on kills, Fla gave priority to the Dragons. The problem is that the soul of the early mountain for the red-blacks was essential for Flamengo to fit in good fights, finish the game in 37 minutes and win the third title in a row at the CBLoL Academy.

More decision this week
After the end of another stage of the Academy, it remains to be seen who will be the champion of the CBLoL. The grand final of the main League of Legends tournament takes place next Saturday (23) with the duel between paiN Gaming x RED Kalunga.
As with last weekend’s decision, Riot’s arena will be attended by fans to elevate the mood of the final. The time is the same as always: from 1 pm.
