The Chatreey AM08 is presented as a compact but interesting mini PC due to its design and features. This equipment comes configured with a powerful Ryzen 9 5900HX APU which, as many of our readers will know, has a processor of 8 cores and 16 threads based on Zen 3 architecture, and has an integrated GPU Radeon RX Vega 8.
In terms of raw power, this is a very capable team despite its small size. Its design has a classic touch, since it adopts a pyramid-shaped chassis and angular lines, although it has a curious finish at the top where the on and off button is integrated. Right in that area there is a wheel that allows you to adjust the performance mode of the equipment instantly, without having to carry out any type of configuration.
We can choose between three different modes that will change the LED lighting of the power button and the upper area of the Chatreey AM08. Silent mode is identified in color blue, and it is recommended for light work, since it allows us to concentrate better by minimizing noise and considerably reduces consumption. Balanced mode is shown with green light, and it is recommended for office tasks that require higher performance. Lastly the Red color identifies the high performance mode, which is the loudest and most consuming, but also the most powerful.
The Chatreey AM08 supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory at 3,200 MHz in dual channel, it has an M.2 2280 slot to mount a PCIe Gen3 SSD, it has enough space for a 2.5-inch storage drive, it integrates a network card with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 and it has a wide range of connectors:
