Presented during the traditional keynote, the iPad 2021 is available for purchase from all online stores and on the official Apple store. The version iPad Wi-Fi is available at €389 in 64 GB or €559 in 256 GB. Regarding the version with Wi-Fi and 4G LTE, it is available at 529 € with 64 GB of internal memory or 699 € in 256 GB.
🤔 What’s new in the new iPad?
A lot of new features on this new formula of the iPad 2021. To start, we find there the A13 chip which according to Apple makes it gain 20% more speed compared to the previous generation. According to Melody Kuna, Senior Manager iPad Product Design, this iPad is three times faster than the best Chromebook computer and six times faster than an Android tablet.
The neural engine embedded in the A13 Bionic chip allows the new iPad to take advantage of machine learning capabilities. For example, a large number of applications thus benefit from the contributions of AI in order to offer new services such as LiveText. The latter can recognize the text of a photo on which users can act.
The photo section has also been reviewed and improved, in particular with the integration of a new 12 MP ultra-wide front sensor and an 8 MP rear sensor. Center Stage is thus accessible to users thanks to this lens and the neural engine. Center Stage is a technology that automatically follows people on screen during a video call.
Regarding the display, this iPad 2021 offers a Retina panel with a diagonal of 10.2 inches and features True Tone technology, which adapts the screen display (brightness and colors) to your environment.
On the accessories side, Apple provides for the iPad 2021 Apple Pencil compatibility first generation, with the Smart Connector and Smart Keyboard, as well as other keyboards from third-party manufacturers such as Logitech.
Finally, Apple’s inexpensive tablet comes with the new iPadOS 15 operating system, which will be deployed on September 20. Among the new features present, we will find, for example, the possibility of arranging widgets and applications as you wish, a more intuitive multitasking mode, the Notes application which extends to the entire system with Quick Note or the arrival of the Translate app that allows you to translate any text on the fly.
