The Chuwi MiniBook X is one of the smallest convertibles on the marketSince it comes with a 10.8-inch touch-type IPS panel with which we can interact directly, either with our fingers or with a stylus.
The Chinese company has confirmed that the Chuwi MiniBook X uses a processor Intel Celeron N5100, a low-power chip that is manufactured in a 10 nm process, and that is characterized by offering a much higher performance compared to the previous generation, thanks to the improvements that Intel has introduced at the architecture level.
That chip is accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, which means that the Chuwi MiniBook X is fully capable of multitasking without problems, and that we will not have any storage problems in the short or medium term, since it far exceeds the minimum recommended margin of 256 GB of space available for optimal use in this type of equipment.
The Chuwi MiniBook X has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, is compatible, as we said, with optical pencils thanks to its touch interface, and has measures of 243.8 x 167.6 x 17.7 mm, and a weight of just 907 grams. This means that it is very light and compact, and that we can take it with us in total comfort.
It has a USB Type-C connector that supports up to 45 watts of charging, mounts a 5 MP front camera integrated in a floating circular island, uses memory LPDDR4X (add 12 GB, as we already saw), mount a 512GB SATA III SSD, It comes with an integrated Intel UHD GPU and offers wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Its operating system is Windows 10, although we will not have any problem updating to Windows 11.
In general, this equipment is not bad at all, but the price seems a bit high, since it costs $ 599, a figure that, in exchange, becomes 530 euros. Taxes should be applied to this figure, as is evident.
