Do you know how long it takes us to organize our trips? Search web pages, blogs and finally request information from the destination tourist office. Now, this entire process can be done in five minutes thanks to Ciceronea smart tourism platform developed by the startup iUrban.es, that personalizes the tourist’s trip according to the days that they will be there and the profile of the traveler (family, partner, work, etc.),
With her, you can create routes with the elements to visitactivities and events adapted to the traveler, always automatically and in any language, either from the web, or from any support in your municipality.
This measure is supported by Telefónica as an investor in the startup, and the Secretary of State for Tourism, through Segittur, and has been officially presented in Fitur 2023. It is a sustainable solution designed mainly for small municipalities that do not have a tourist office, as well as cities that want to attract and obtain data on who their tourists are and what they want to see 24 hours a day.
This solution is already being tested in capitals such as Malaga and towns of the province. Thanks to artificial intelligence, municipalities can know which tourist services and products are the most requested; For example, in the tests carried out during the pandemic, it was observed how queries about green spaces, parks and hiking trailsto the detriment of museums and closed spaces.
These tools make it possible to focus the tourist offer on new needs, such as knowing which are the most demanded or popular corners of the destination, or what hours are the best to avoid queues in museums, in the language of the visitor, registering their email to include it in a CRM and thus retain it through events adapted to the future visitor.
According to the CEO of iUrban.es Andrés Martínez: “With this totally digital tourist office, the user will be able to personalize their stay in Madrid through different screens and virtual informants, obtaining a route map without the need for personnel”.
