Cloudera has announced the appointment of charles sansbury as the new CEO. “We are delighted to announce that Charles Sansbury is the new CEO of Cloudera”, explains Jeff Hawn, Administration Counsel President. “In his more than twenty years in leadership roles, Charles has designed and directed highly successful business strategies and corporate initiatives that have fueled the growth of his companies. His leadership will drive the exciting hybrid data strategy that Cloudera is pursuing in the era where AI will enable companies to get the most out of all their data.”
Sansbury brings extensive leadership experience in the software industry to Cloudera. He has been CEO of ASG Technologies from 2015 until its sale in 2021 to Rocket Software. Previously, he was COO of The Attachmate Group from 2011 to 2014, where he also served as CFO from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, from 2001 to 2006 he was CFO of Vignette.
