Cobra Kai: the series has been renewed for a fifth season!

Daniel and Johnny may make peace in Cobra Kai 4 but this does not mean that the story will end with the new episodes of the series, due out next December. Netflix has in fact announced that it has officially renewed Cobra Kai for a fifth season, with filming starting as early as next fall in Atlanta.

Season 4 is in the home straight, and with the premiere scheduled for December 4, we can’t wait to see Daniel and Johnny work together as they and their students take on John Kreese (Martin Cove) and his band of rebel pupils. Plus, as fans of the series know, Karate Kid II’s Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) is coming back!

Produced by Sony Pictures Television, Cobra Kai is written and produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg through their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment. Will Smith, James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett are executive producers for Westbrook Entertainment along with Susan Ekins. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are also executive producers.
