Competitive prices and speed of delivery, the most valued in logistics

The commerce sector has had in the transport of goods an essential engine for its advance, and more so now, with the impulse of buying and selling, during these last years. The transport logistics it is a crucial piece in the operation of these businesses and the distribution of merchandise is a differentiating element between companies, which seek to satisfy their customers in the best possible way.

The role played by the logistics chain is key for e-commerce, which works to better position itself in the market and be a competitive advantage over the rest. They no longer deal with the mere transfer of products to the user, but instead seek to establish a strategic process in which to reduce costs and transport the merchandise quickly and economically.

In this sense, breaking down the latest survey carried out by the Packlink PRO platform, what Spanish e-commerce most value in a carrier is their competitive prices (52.3%) and delivery speed (24.9%). Competitive prices are also the first factor valued by the rest of European e-commerce, achieving a rating of 61.9% in France, 56.5% in Italy, 55.2% in the United Kingdom and 52. 4% in Germany. For their part, the French value the tracking service more (16.5%) than the speed of delivery (14.2%).

Likewise, following the opinion of those surveyed, 41.6% of Spanish e-commerce consider fast shipping and cheap rates a very important factor when choosing your transport and 39.5% consider it the most important factor.

The appearance of new digital tools has made production and consumption processes more efficient. For this reason, knowing how to adapt to the times and deliver to the consumer what they demand in the shortest possible time and with the highest quality and safetyis already a fact and a demand that is increasingly acclaimed by users.

But, what is the transport innovation system that e-commerce considers most important? Following the survey carried out by Packlink PRO to more than 2,000 European e-commerce, geolocation in real time of a product is the most valued innovative factor. A valuation that stands out in Spain (74.7%), France (72%), Germany and the United Kingdom (63.9%) and Italy (61.8%).

Below this factor, they also consider determinant management in the cloud of the coordinates of a package in real time. Placing Germany the country that most estimates this point with 23.5%, above Italy (19.8%), Spain (16.2%), the United Kingdom (17.8%) and France (8.3 %). On the other hand, the e-commerce of the Gallic country estimates more the analysis of data and stocks (16.5%) before the management in the cloud (8.3%).
