CORSAIR announces the XENEON 27 OLED, its new “gamer” monitor

CORSAIRone of the leading companies in gaming products and contexts in which high performance is required, has announced its new monitor XENEON 27 OLED (27QHD240)which combines LG’s latest OLED display technology with distinctive CORSAIR styling to give gamers and creators the best visual experience.

The XENEON 27 OLED or XENEON 27QHD240 OLED is a 27-inch monitor that operates at a native resolution of 2,560×1,440 pixels (1440p), at a refresh rate of 240Hza contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, with support for 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, a response time of 0.03 milliseconds and with support for the NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium.

Thanks to the collaboration between CORSAIR and LG, the XENEON 27 OLED implements a third-generation panel with META technology, which equips Micro Lens Array (MLA). This combination, together with the aforementioned features, increases the brightness level of the OLED panel to take it beyond what was offered by the previous generation, which translates into a superior color experience.

The monitor offers a wide range of customization options, including the ability to rotate up to 60 degrees, tilt up to 22 degrees, a height adjustment of 100 millimeters, the ability to rotate on its stand by 90 degrees in any direction and the ability to mount it on an arm via the standard VESA bracket.

At the connection level, the user will find two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Type-C connector with DisplayPort as an alternative mode that allows you to connect four devices simultaneously. On the other hand, the available USB 3.1 Type-C and the other four USB 3.1 Type-A ports make it easy to connect the monitor to fully equipped computers. Front-accessible controls include a proximity sensor to guide the user to the correct button to turn power on and off, select input, or access the on-screen joystick controller.

The XENEON 27 OLED is not alone, but it comes to accompany and complement the XENEON FLEX 45 OLED, a larger monitor with a similar profile. Because of that, it shares features like burn-in protection techniques to keep the image clean after heavy use and all-encompassing features, which is bolstered by a three-year warranty that covers Zero Dead Pixel and Zero Burn In. Reservations will open in May 2023.
