Creative Zen Air, competent and affordable headphones

The Creative Zen Air are the new headphones that the Singapore firm has announced. Light and wireless, its specifications are not bad for its sale price below the barrier of 70 dollars.

The headphones are quite light with a weight of only 46 grams. It has support for the wireless standard Bluetooth 5.0 and are certified to the IPX4 standard sweat proof. Its design is visible, small with dimensions of 60 x 48 x 28 mm, but elegant in the shape of a “stick” and finished in white.

Sound reproduction is the primary responsibility of two 10mm neodymium drivers, which promise clear highs and well-balanced mids to produce high-quality audio performance for its price point. It is also equipped with 4 microphones for communication or calling functions.

The Creative Zen Air have active noise cancellation (ANC). A feature reserved for higher-priced models that can help filter out unwanted background noise. Thanks to its touch support, with a simple tap on the earcups users can easily switch to ambient mode to let in just the right amount of sound.

These headphones support AAC and SBC audio codecs, and will soon support X-Fi Spatial multi-channel audio technology. They can work with the assistants Siri and Google Assistant, and are certified to work with iOS and Android operating systems or Windows if you use them with personal computers, although they should work with any device that supports Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming.
