D-Link expands its 5G solutions and tools for business networks

D-Link has unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2023 its new lines of 5G O-RAN solutions to develop private networks for companies, as well as various business 5G solutions. Among them, 5G M2M industrial routers and networks for companies with intelligent management.

The new range of 5G O-RAN solutions allows the creation of private networks based on a customized Open RAN infrastructure, deploying a 5G core network through a central distribution unit, with a centralized unit and 5G access points. It is an alternative network system to wireless networks that use WiFi, which offers lower latency and better roaming performance.

With the integration of this new range with the already existing D-Link industrial solutions, companies have all kinds of connectivity options, even the most advanced. This range of solutions includes 4G and 5G routers, M2M gateways, switches and access points, as well as the cloud-based D-Link D-ECS management solution.

On the other hand, D-Link has announced a new remote management tool, Edge Cloud Solutionwhich has geolocation and Artificial Intelligence (D-ECS) for remote machine-to-machine implementations and access through a secure VPN.

Another of the new software tools that the company has presented at the MWC is SNMP D View 8 (DV-800). It focuses on providing facilities to manage company networks in large deployments, in which there are a multitude of switches and access points. In these cases, a tool is necessary that offers agility for network monitoring and advanced analytical capacity to anticipate failures that may occur, and to do so through a report based on Artificial Intelligence.

DV-800 is designed for company network topologies with access to switch and access point management, as well as an Artificial Intelligence system, with advanced analytics, of all network parameters. It can work with up to 1,500 devices, including D-Link switches and access points. In addition, it allows the creation of detailed blueprints of network topologies. Thus, it achieves an administration adapted to each environment, and more dynamic, regardless of its size.
