Dell launches the most aberrational (and expensive) gaming peripherals in its history

Surely you already know, but it is worth remembering that Alienware is Dell’s gaming brand. Personally, it is not a brand that I would recommend to anyone. A few years ago I was able to test a gaming laptop from the brand and it literally seemed that it was going to take off from the tremendous noise of its fans.

Alienware Releases an Ugly and Absurdly Expensive Line of Peripherals

One thing you have achieved Dell for your brand Alienware is to create a design for your gaming laptops very recognizable. The problem is that they have carried this design to their peripherals and in some cases, it is an aberration. We are going to see the peripherals that they have presented and their main characteristics

AW620M Mouse

The most economical product they have presented is a gaming mouse, the Alienware AW620M. It is characterized mainly by having a optical sensor up to 26,000 DPI, which doesn’t make much sense. In addition, it has 7 programmable buttons and RGB lighting. Autonomy is not bad at all, offering more than 140 hours of use and with a 5-minute charge, we have up to 10 hours of use.

Be careful, since this mouse is not for the poor (I fall into this category), since it costs 99 dollars.

AW920K keyboard

We now turn to the keyboard that they have presented, which can be used wired or wireless. It has a USB-C port for charging and wired use, in addition to supporting connection by Bluetooth and the band of 2.4GHz. The keys (keycaps) are made of PBT and make use of Cherry MX Red switches. It has two programmable knobs on the right side, above the numeric keypad.

The keyboard will be available in black and white, will arrive in the next few months, and has a price of 289.99 dollars. Quite expensive, costing almost twice as much as any other gaming keyboard with the same type of switches.

Headphones AW520H and AW720H

As always in life, the best for last. They have also released their own gaming headphones that follow the same line of design. The problem with these headphones is precisely the design they have. Alienware wanted to keep the design and they were wrong, since they look like two huge Apple Air Pods.

I have to say that, even though I don’t like Alienware, looking at the characteristics of these headphones and he pricethey look like interesting. Now, its design is horrible and strongly reminiscent of Apple’s in-ear wireless headphones.

Both headphones have 40mm speakers neodymium with a range of frequency between 20 Hz and 40 kHz. He microphone that they incorporate is unidirectional with a -40dB sensitivity. In addition, they offer ear cushions of foam foam and a double headband system to offer more comfort.

The model AW520H is characterized by having a usb-c cable two meters and a jack adapter is included for greater compatibility. The AW720H are wireless and offer a autonomy of up to 30 hours. Both have RGB.

Say that the AW520H they cost $99.99 and the AW720H they cost $159.99, which are prices quite consistent with the market due to their characteristics. The big problem they have is the design, which is horrible.
