Destiny 2: What You Should Know About Season 19 Activities

Raids

The first seasonal activity with a player selection system, designed for a group of 1-3 people. The raids can be launched from the planets where they are located (the story version) and from the map of the operational headquarters HELMET (the usual version). Among themselves, the versions differ in the recommended light level and modifiers, and the developers have added a new, very interesting option to the usual one, which increases the light level of opponents by + 5 from yours. Due to this, together with the device of the Raids themselves, they always seem a little complicated.

At the time of writing, only 2 Raids are available to players, located on the Moon and Europa. The main task of each Raid is simple – players need to get inside the familiar bunkers of the Military Mind and destroy the invaders. Fortunately, the developers decided not just to use the old bunker locations, but to add new segments and make them slightly different. Next, we will analyze the process of passing, conditionally dividing the activity into 4 stages, keep in mind that the text below affects the usual complexity (in the future, a legendary one will appear).

Stage 1

Once inside the activity, the group first has to get to the entrance to the bunker, simultaneously destroying waves of angry-born and dodging the protective system of the bunker itself. The latter is represented in the form of a tower that releases a beam towards the player, hanging a 15-second debuff, if its timer reaches 0, the character instantly dies. To remove the debuff, it is enough to hide behind any obstacle or go into invisibility.

Stage 2

Once inside the bunker, the group needs to reach the door leading deeper, simultaneously killing or skipping opponents, and then complete a certain task:

  • Luna – hacks the terminal, fighting off waves of opponents. With each wave, more and more opponents are sent to the players, including elites and champions.
  • Europe – since the first part of the raid takes place in the Clovis Bray corps, players will have to fight with several elites and champions, after which they will jump into the void.

Stage 3

After going deep into the bunker, players find themselves in front of a closed door to the control room, and to open it, you need to have time to break 5 locks of the Hive in 3 minutes. To do this, you need to kill 3 opponents in the marked areas, take the sphere that appears, return to the door and inflict enough damage on each lock. 2 spheres are enough to break all the locks, so the third player protects the space in front of the door from waves of opponents because otherwise, they can kill the sphere-bearers.

Stage 4

Having opened the door to the control room, it remains only to destroy the final boss, he is different in each raid:

  • Luna is Officer Scorn. Armed with a sniper rifle, periodically goes to invisible mode and invokes the totem of invulnerability.
  • Europe is the huge eye of the Hive. Behaves the same as the boss in an already remote Raid on Titan periodically teleporting around the map.

Regardless of the Raid, as soon as the boss’s HP drops by 1 division, an impenetrable white shield is formed around it, which can be removed only by charging the structure in the center with spheres from illuminated mobs.

After the death of the boss, two chests appear in the center of the control room, an ordinary and special seraphim, and two new currencies are issued – a resonating rod, seraphim codes. Various equipment drops out of the first chest, and from the second – energy for focusing shadow engrams, new equipment, and rods. To open the second chest, the player must have 500 seraphim codes, they are knocked out of various activities, for example:

  • Raids – 25 pieces.
  • Chest of the lost sector – 30 pieces.
  • The opening of the event – 205 pieces for the usual, 240 for the heroic. Perhaps the best option, regardless of complexity.
  • Playlist of Raids – 285 pieces.
  • Gambit – 270 pieces (earned in defeat).
  • PvP – 255 pieces (earned by winning a quick match).

Operations

The second seasonal activity without a player selection system is designed for a group of 1-3 people. This is a very simple story activity in which players will release the control complexes of the Military Intelligence space station every week and then go to it.

The operation of the first week turned out to be quite short because it is necessary to eliminate several very simple opponents, including the boss, and restore the power supply. Nevertheless, for sure other activities will be more interesting because Destiny 2 has a high rating on IMDb.
