Diablo Immortal is in the area! Last Wednesday (1st), the latest game in the iconic Blizzard franchise was released for mobile devices (Android and iOS). and from 2 pm (Brasilia time) this Thursday (2)PC gamers will also be able to join this journey.
The title is an action RPG with free MMO elements that narrates the events between the second and third games in the franchise. In this new chapter, the archangel Tyrael is supposedly dead, and it’s up to humanity to deal with the consequences of his actions.
But with the arrival of new concepts and ideas, it’s only natural that some players – especially MMORPG newbies – get lost when joining this adventure. In fact, even Diablo veterans should need some time to understand all the mechanics and start the journey on the right foot.

Attention to the choice of classes

Choosing your class carefully is already a common practice among RPG players. But this becomes even more important in Diablo Immortal, as there is no way to transfer items from one character to another (from the same account) and some rewards can be claimed by only one character per account.
Admittedly, in the future, Blizzard will implement a feature to change your character’s class without losing the progress you’ve gained. But as this can take some time, it’s worth studying all the available classes (Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer and Arcanist) and choosing the one that best fits your playstyle.
Otherwise, it will take a lot of patience (and time) to start another adventure “from scratch”.
Warbands are important

Anyone who plays MMOs knows how important group expeditions are to progress in games. In this sense, in Diablo Immortal there are Warbands: a kind of mini-clans, which bring together up to eight players. And yes, they can make a lot of difference in your adventure.
Because? Because running raids with Warbands regularly yields extra rewards, which is essential for game development. It is worth remembering that items found in Warbands adventures can be shared by the group. But if the player leaves the miniclan, the item will remain in the Warband’s possession.
No fear of leveling up your items

Admittedly, equipment may not be so important at the beginning of the journey. But if you have all the equipment needed to upgrade eligible items (rare, legendary and set), don’t hesitate. This is because upgrades carry over to the new equipped part via the free rank transfer feature.
And since these upgrades offer increased stats that can result in a power boost, there’s no reason not to upgrade items.
Strategy when leveling up

Gaining XP from killing monsters and completing quests is basically what every Diablo Immortal player wants at the beginning of the adventure. But there will certainly be times when the game will require a certain level to continue the journey, even if all the main quests have already been completed.
Farming can be a good alternative, but it’s also worth betting on secondary tasks and optional lair explorations to collect as much XP as possible. In fact, this might be the best time to claim your Battle Pass experience rewards — if you’ve purchased it, of course.
Game doesn’t end at level 60

Keep in mind that the initial focus will be on reaching level 60, the maximum cap released during the main campaign. But reaching that level doesn’t even mean “zeroing” the game. Quite the contrary: that’s when things start to get interesting.
After this level, the player will have more options to enjoy the game, whether with resources such as Rifts, Helliquary Raids, among others. In fact, the Paragon system will provide 10 excellent talent trees, each with unique bonuses for attributes and different perks.
