Diners Club Spain launches MICE Account to centralize payments for corporate events

The recent effects of the pandemic have emphasized the importance of efficient management of MICE expenses and the need for companies to further digitize their processes. Diners Club Spain, a company specialized in financial services for corporate traveloffers companies and event agencies the possibility of increasing their liquidity and analyzing in which items MICE expenses are made.

The MICE Account offers different insurance policies for people who use said card to travel to events, congresses or participate in incentive trips: accident insurance in means of transport and at destination, travel assistance insurance and accident insurance for mobility services in taxis, rental cars with driver and hourly rental cars.

Combined with the VCN solutionDiners Club Spain’s option for payment with virtual cards, increases the autonomy of the company in terms of expense management, allowing the configuration of the characteristics of each virtual card, according to the limitations that the client wants to establish.

Jessica Puttmann, director of marketing and communication of Diners Club Spain, explains: “We wanted to create a payment instrument specially focused on the payment needs for events. This card for client companies is limited to MICE activities and, together with our VCN Solution, offers the possibility of sharing a secure payment method with the supplier or the Meeting Planner, which at the same time limits and controls its use, according to the parameters established by the client. Using the MICE Account will offer clients greater transparency regarding their spending.”
