Rian Johnson announces the end of filming of Dinner with Crime: Knives Out 2
The director of the film made the announcement on social media, writing:
We have just finished production of the next Benoit Blanc mystery and on top of that I have finally seen Annette, f * ck it’s gorgeous. I send a hug and a big thank you to our entire crew, cast and Leos Carax.

After the sequel to Knives Out, a third film
Knives Out 2 is just one of two sequels that Rian Johnson he will write, produce and direct for Netflix after the Californian company signed a $ 450 million deal to make the two films exclusively for the video on demand platform.
With a budget of just $ 40 million, Netflix hopes to replicate the success of the first Knives Out, which raised over $ 311 million at the worldwide box office. This won’t be the only sequel in the pipeline for Knives Out, though, with Netflix asking Rian Johnson to make a third film in the franchise.

To help Rian Johnson in the enterprise, in the cast of Knives Out 2 will be present Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Daniel Craig, Jessica Henwick, Ethan Hawke, Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, Leslie Odom Jr. and Janelle Monáe.
