During a special event, Capcom finally announced Street Fighter 6, the first trailer of which celebrates the 35th anniversary of the franchise.
A few days ago, Capcom created a website whose sole purpose was to host a mysterious countdown. It brought us to today, Monday February 21 at 7am. So Capcom had plenty of time to make its all-important announcement, which is actually very good news for fans of street fighter. Indeed, the studio officially announces street fighter 6, which arrives just in time for the franchise’s 35th anniversary this year. Check out its first trailer below.
It is very succinct, does not reveal much, but has the good idea to show us the characters of Ryu, veteran of the franchise, and Luke, one of the newest arrivals of Street Fighter V, with completely modernized graphics. Capcom announces in passing that these two characters will have a crucial role in the narration of this sixth opus.
At this time, no release date or window has been revealed for street fighter 6, but Capcom assures us that more information will be delivered to us during the summer. A few more months to wait, which will not be easy for the studio, which jointly announces the Capcom fighting collection.
The most complete collection
For this title, fans will not have to wait very long, it is already confirmed for next June 24. This collection will contain the games Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, as well as some games previously only available in Japan. It is Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge and Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire.
