The Batman – March 2, 2022
He’s back, but this time in the guise of Robert Pattinson. The dark knight offers a new film at Warner Bros and it is Matt Reeves who is in charge. On the sidelines of the DCEU, the studios will immerse us in the heart of the first two years of Batman’s exercise in Gotham. Along the way, he will meet several of the most iconic antagonists of the license on paper, starting with Colin Farrell, simply unrecognizable in the skin of the criminal.
The Bad Guys – April 13
Dreamworks will adapt the comics The Bad Guys for the cinema. Next spring, the studios will immerse us in this zany adventure of a gang of criminal animals on the verge of achieving their greatest achievement: becoming respectable citizens. To do this, they must rid the town of a new villain.
Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets – April 13
As Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone celebrated its 20th year in 2021, the universe continues to expand with the third installment of Fantastic Beasts. Dumbledore’s Secrets brings with it some casting changes, Johnny Depp will not be there. It is Mads Mikkelsen who will replace him in the skin of Gellert Grindelwald.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – May 4
The new Marvel movie is highly anticipated, in more ways than one. In addition to promising us an unprecedented exploration of the multiverse, the film also marks the return of Sam Raimi to directing a superhero film. The filmmaker had distinguished himself with the first Spider-Man trilogy and promises us once again a large-scale spectacle.
The Northman – May 11
After The Lighthouse, Robert Eggers returns to directing a genre film. With The Northman, he will transport us to the tenth century alongside a Nordic prince ready to do anything to obtain compensation after the death of his father. In the casting, we find Alexander Skarsgard in the title role.

Obi-Wan Kenobi – May 25, 2022
Ewan McGregor will return as Obi-Wan Kenobi. The actor will be at the heart of a new series stamped Star Wars, undoubtedly the one that we expect the most in this new Star Wars vintage. The plot will take us several years after the birth of Darth Vader, as the former Jedi watches over the very young Luke Skywalker.
Vikings: Valhalla – since February 25
After bowing out of History, vikings returns to our screens with a first spin-off. This time, Netflix will produce. 100 years after the events of the original production, Valhalla will follow men and women ready to do anything to survive in a changing Europe.
Sandman – in 2022
It’s a huge project for Netflix. The platform will adapt the novels Sandman by Neil Gaiman. A new series that will immerse us alongside Morpheus, as he tries to repair the cosmic and human mistakes he has made during his vast existence.
Netflix recently announced that it would not be recommended for anyone under 18. For the moment, it is not yet known when it will be broadcast. Netflix has nevertheless announced that this launch should take place in the heart of this year 2022.
Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon – in 2022
After the end of the series, not really appreciated by all, the universe offers itself a new chance to seduce us. HBO will broadcast a spin-off of Game Of Thronesset 200 years before the fall of the throne and the adventures of the Stark family.
It will follow the various members of the Targaryen family as a vast war is brewing. The appointment with this new production has not yet been set, but we should find all these beautiful people on OCS during the year 2022.
The Boys (Season 3) – June 3, 2022
The series, arguably the most popular on Amazon Prime Video, is getting a third season, still with the same characters and the same dose of trash. We will notably find Homelander, rather in bad shape after his defeat against Billy Butcher. Other protagonists will join the adventure, starting with Soldier Boy who should play an important role in the plot.
Note also the forthcoming arrival of The Lord Rings: The Rings of Power, which was revealed a few days ago on the occasion of a trailer. A vast subject that we have already mentioned in our dedicated file.
