42 countries to continue an expansion that seems unstoppable
Today Disney + is available in 64 countries, and this summer they want to significantly expand their presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. All new regions will receive Disney+ with Star, so they can enjoy a catalog that includes all the content from Pixal, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century, FX and much more. The company has announced that Disney+ will land in Albania, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kosovo. Czech Republic, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, Vatican City, and Yemen .
What’s more, the new territories in which Disney Plus will be available are the Faroe Islands of DenmarkFrench Polynesia, the French Southern Territories and the Overseas Collective of Saint Pierre and Miquelon, the Åland Islands of Finland, Saint Martin of the Netherlands, Svalbard and Jan Mayen of Norway and the British Indian Ocean Territory, Gibraltar, the Pitcairn and Saint Helena Islands of the United Kingdom.
The truth is that the work that Disney + is doing has made it become the second largest streaming platform with nearly 130 million subscribers.
