The wait is over, and we finally know the official release date of god of war ragnarok. will be the next November 9 when we can finally embark on the new adventure of Kratos and Atreus, being the first time that they arrive on PlayStation 5 at launch. However, the best of the news is related to its collector’s edition.
Feel the power the thunder
There will be two special versions of God of War, the classic collector’s edition with which you can get a limited edition item, and the Jötnar edition, the latter being the most special as it includes absolutely everything. The limited edition item will be nothing more and nothing less than a Mjölnir, Thor’s famous hammer that will bring serious problems to Kratos this time. It’s a 16-inch life-size replica that looks pretty good, so make room for it on your collector’s edition shelf because this has to be on display.
What does the collector’s edition include?
These are all the physical items included in the box:
- God of War Ragnarök game code for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (yes, disc not included)
- Steelbook case (without game disc) with bear and wolf designs.
- 5 cm figures of the Vanir twins: The Collector’s Edition of God of War (2018) included the wooden toys of the huldra brothers of Atreus, so this Collector’s Edition of God of War Ragnarök completes the content with figures of the twins Vanir.
- Dwarven Dice Set: Wood-finished dice set in a bag with a Yggdrasil symbol on the outside.
- 16″ Mjölnir Replica: Highly detailed replica of Thor’s weapon in God of War Ragnarök.

What does the Jötnar edition include?
This is the most complete edition you can find, since in addition to everything included in the collector’s edition, other elements have been added to make it even more exclusive:

- 7-inch vinyl record with music by Bear McCreary.
- The hawk, bear and wolf pin set. They represent Faye, Kratos and Atreus respectively.
- The legendary ring of Draupnir. In Norse mythology, Draupnir’s legendary ring is kept in a red cloth bag.
- Brok’s dice game. This set of dice comes with a metallic silver finish and blue trim. The dice bag bears the huldra brothers brand.
- Yggdrasil cloth map. This cloth map shows each of the Nine Realms in the branches and roots of Yggdrasil.
- One Steelbook box (no game disc).
- Figures of the Vanir twins of 5 cm.
