Disney, on the occasion of the 44th edition of Professional Cinema Days of Sorrento, revealed that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the Italian title of the second Marvel Studios film dedicated to the Sorcerer Supreme.
The announcement, which came along with that of many other films from the House of Mickey Mouse, also reveals the Italian release date of the film directed by Sam Raimi which will arrive in our cinemas on May 4, 2022.

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Dr. Stephen Strange continues his research on the Time Stone. But an old friend turned enemy tries to destroy all the sorcerers on Earth, shattering Strange’s plan and unleashing unspeakable evil.
Benedict Cumberbatch will return in the new movie together with Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor And Rachel McAdams, in the respective roles of Wong, Baron Mordo and Christine Palmer. They will add to the film Scarlet Witch from Elisabeth Olsen and probably the twins Billy and Tommy, Wanda’s children.
The events narrated will be a continuation of what we have seen in WandaVision, with the possible return of Vision and Agatha Harkness.
We remind you that we will soon find Doctor Strange also in Spider-Man: No Way Home, a film that will hit theaters on December 15, 2021.
