Don’t Look Up: Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence in the first trailer of the Netflix movie

There is a comet that will pass over our heads on Christmas Eve, and it is not the same comet seen by the Magi but that of Don’t Look Up, the new movie Netflix starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence arriving on the video on demand platform on December 24th.

The trailer subtitled in Italian of Don’t Look Up

Their comet is in fact very different from that of the nativity, being destined to collide with the Earth and destroy our planet; as told in first Italian trailer of Don’t Look Up and from its official synopsis (which you can find a little further below):

DON’T LOOK UP tells the story of two humble astronomers who set out on a huge media tour with the aim of alerting humanity to the approach of a comet destined to destroy the Earth.

The film was written and directed by Adam McKay (The Big Bet, Vice – The Man in the Shadows) and should have been released in theaters during 2020. Obviously, you can imagine why the film was then postponed until arriving on Netflix next December.

However, the film will arrive in selected cinemas starting December 10, probably to be able to guarantee participation in the Oscars.

In addition to Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, the cast of the film will also include Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Timothée Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Chris Evans, Gina Gershon, Tyler Perry and Ron Perlman. In short, not a film that lets itself go unnoticed in terms of stars.
