Here is the second trailer of Denis Villeneuve’s next film, taken from Frank Herbert’s Cycle of Dunes.

The Italian Main Trailer of Dune shows us a little more than the previous one, published a few months ago. While some of the sequences are similar, much more is shown of the planet Arrakis, and its bare but beautiful landscape “so beautiful when the sun is low”.
We have talked about the faces that will lend themselves to interpret the characters of the Dune universe, but this new trailer also allows us to take a first look at the technical aspects of the film, which promise to be really impactful.
Behind the camera, Villeneuve finds the two-time Oscar-nominated production designer® Patrice Vermette (“Arrival”, “Sicario”, “The Young Victoria”), two-time Oscar nominated editor® Joe Walker (“Blade Runner 2049”, “Arrival”, “12 Years a Slave”), two-time Oscar winner® visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert (“First Man”, “Blade Runner 2049”) and Academy Award winner® for special effects Gerd Nefzer (“Blade Runner 2049”).
Villeneuve collaborates for the first time with the Oscar-nominated cinematographer® Greig Fraser (“Lion”, “Zero Dark Thirty”, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”); the three-time Oscar nominated costume designer® Jacqueline West (“The Revenant”, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, “Quills – The Pen of Scandal”), second costume designer Bob Morgan and stunt coordinator Tom Struthers (the “Dark Knight” trilogy, ” Inception “). The Oscar-winning composer® Hans Zimmer (“Blade Runner 2049”, “Inception”, “The Gladiator”, “The Lion King”) created the soundtrack.
Dune will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 3rd. The appointment in the room is instead set for September 16, 2021.
