This week, Tesla released the number of electric vehicles sold in 2021. And that’s a roaring number. No one expected Tesla at this level, especially among financial analysts. They have published very positive reports on the company and its results. This obviously had an effect on the share price on the New York Stock Exchange. On Monday, Tesla’s market cap rose by 13% during the day and once again exceeded the 1000 billion dollars. This obviously drives up the fortune of shareholders … including Elon Musk.

Elon Musk’s fortune far exceeds that of Jeff Bezos

The boss of the automaker has indeed won $ 32.6 billion on the same day, thanks to the increase in the share price of his company. A great deal that allowed him to return, for a few days, above the bar of 300 billion dollars of personal fortune, comforting him in his position as the richest man in the world.

Since then, water has flowed under the bridges and the Tesla title has fallen slightly. At the time of writing, Elon Musk’s fortune is estimated at $ 292 billion according to Bloomberg. But the boss of Tesla keeps the top of the ranking. And by far since the fortune of his dolphin, Jeff Bezos, is today estimated at $ 193 billion. Almost 100 billion dollars therefore separate them. A year ago, the gap was so narrow that in January Elon Musk was first and in February it was Jeff Bezos’ turn to take the lead.

In third position, you find Bernard Arnault, the boss of the French group LVMH. Then follow Bill Gates, Larry Page, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, Steve Ballmer, Warren Buffet and Larry Ellison to close this World Top 10 billionaires.
