EMUI 12: here is the list of Huawei smartphones that benefit from the April 2022 update

EMUI April 2022 update is available. This security update improves as it should the level of protection of the system and corrects 28 security vulnerabilities. And good news: all Huawei and Honor devices released in the last 3 years can benefit from it.

It’s been a few weeks since Huawei started deploying EMUI 12 on its smartphones and tablets globally. If the latest version of the interface has long been reserved for the most recent devices, which are devoid of Google Mobile Services in favor of Huawei Mobile Services, this is no longer the case. Today, models like the P30 and P30 Pro can claim EMUI 12, while continuing to take advantage of HMS, as we have seen with one of the editorial smartphones. This type of smartphone continues to use Android (in version 10, in this case).

If everything goes according to plan, the deployment of the new EMUI interface will be completed by the end of April 2022. In the meantime, Huawei has just released another update, which concerns system security. The April 2022 update fixes 28 EMUI flaws, including 19 high level and 9 medium level.

List of Huawei smartphones and tablets eligible for the April 2022 update

The list is divided into two parts: there are on the one hand the devices which benefit from a monthly update, and on the other hand the smartphones and tablets which benefit from a quarterly update. But all are eligible for the April 2022 update. To update your smartphone or tablet, go to the following options: Settings > System & Updates > Software update.
