Encanto is stronger than Aladdin!

A success that could be explained by the arrival of TikTok on our smartphones. Indeed, on the social network where it is legion to create or reproduce choreographies in front of the objective, “We don’t talk about Bruno” gained many followers. The sound has been used in over 496,000 videos. The same goes for the rest of the album, and mainly the song “Sous les apparitions” performed by Ana Ka in the French version.

It remains to be seen whether this commercial success will allow him to win a statuette at the next Oscars ceremony. As so often, the firm submitted some of its original songs to the jury. We will know in a few days if Lin Manuel Miranda’s scores will be in the running for the title of best soundtrack.

The artist could also shine thanks to his feature film Tick, Tick… ​​Boom! In this original Netflix production, he retraces the life of the composer of Rent, Jonathan Larson. Andrew Garfield portrays the main character, alongside Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) and Alexandra Shipp (All our perfect days).
