The EnGenius firm has launched the ENH500-AX, a Wi-Fi 6 compatible PtP/PtMP access point that is prepared to offer a high level of performance, since it works at a maximum speed of 1.2 Gbpsand is designed to easily integrate into any workspace.
With the EnGenius ENH500-AX it is possible to create a high performance wireless network in areas where cable is not viable, and extend the reach of existing networks in a simple and secure way. This model is configured with a Qualcomm SoC and offers 2×2 Wi-Fi 6, which translates to good performance and a high-speed wireless connection.
The ENH500-AX is also equipped with two ethernet ports, which means that we could also pull the cable at any time if necessary. According to EnGenius, this new access point can support up to 200 cameras working in Full HD (FHD) or 20 simultaneous transmissions in 4K.
With this in mind, it is clear that the ENH500-AX in the solution interesting for closed circuit television (CCTV) installationswhere a high-speed and stable connection is required to ensure effective surveillance.
The ENH500-AX equipment is also distinguished by its ease of installation and configuration, thanks to the EnWiFi app, compatible with iOS and Android. Besides, incorporates a PoE connector as standard, which further simplifies network deployment. Jesús Yanes, channel director of EnGenius, has commented:
