The Epson firm has confirmed a major renewal of its catalog of EcoTank printers, designed for small offices (they also have a place in home environments). These printers are well known for offering a good set of features and a low cost per page, thanks to its user-refillable tank system that completely dispenses with the classic ink cartridges.
The new Epson EcoTank printers maintain a compact design and a simple and unobtrusive line, they are equipped with a wide set of functions, including connectivity Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, are compatible with the application Epson Smart Panel, allowing very complete control from smart devices, such as smartphones and tablets, and come with enough ink to print for three years.
For example, the Epson EcoTank ET-1810 printer comes with a set of ink bottles that allows you to print up to 4,500 pages in black and white and 7,500 pages in colorwhile the EcoTank ET-4850 achieves 7,500 pages in black and white and 6,000 pages in color, which is equivalent to up to 72 ink cartridges in a single set of bottles.
Epson has also improved the efficiency and durability of its new printers, thanks to heatless printing technology, which allows reduce energy consumption, and they need less maintenance, and fewer repairs.
The new Epson EcoTank printers are, therefore, more efficient and more durable, and thanks to the refillable tank model they can reduce the cost per page considerably, which translates into significant savings that, accumulated month by month, will represent an important value for any company. In the attached table we can see a complete breakdown of the new models that the Japanese company has presented. Higher models offer a more complete set of functions, as expected.
