The sages of the supervisory board returned to the major events experienced by the company and the users of the platform, including the Covid-19 pandemic. The latter has not only transformed people’s lives, but also the role of social networks. According to the board members admit, Facebook has served as a sounding board for the smokest theories about the vaccine and its effects and allowed conspirators to propagate many untruths. In addition, the wise advise the leaders of Meta to publish the conclusions and to be more transparent about its policy in terms of fake news. According to them, the Covid pandemic has allowed malicious actors to “erode the supporters of democracy”.
