While many of us are still waiting to find out if Bright 2 will finally get in the works or not, Netflix has decided that it will bring another starring film to its video on demand platform Will Smith: Fast & Loose.
David Leitch’s Will Smith movie Fast & Loose is coming to Netflix
After a major bidding war, Netflix has acquired the worldwide rights to the action thriller made by director David Leitch (John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2). The film also boasts a team of highly respected screenwriters such as Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber (Red, Battleship, The Meg, My Spy), who co-wrote the script for the film.
The Fast & Loose synopsis reads:
“The film follows a man who wakes up in Tijuana with no memories. As he reconstructs his past, he discovers he has lived two lives, one as a crime boss and the other as an undercover CIA agent.
The film is yet another “product of the pandemic” which, for one reason or another, will no longer arrive in cinemas and has therefore been auctioned for various streaming services. Netflix would eventually win the rights back in February, and took some time to negotiate the deals.
