With a 2nd season guaranteed even before its 1st episode aired last Thursday (24), “Halo” shows that the public still has hopes for a good adaptation of stories from games to TV. Now, after introducing the world of Master Chief, Cortana and company to gamers and casual viewers, the series will reach its 2nd episode.

When does Halo Episode 2 premiere on Paramount+?

The plot of “Halo” takes place in the exact same universe first portrayed in 2001, in the launch of the first eponymous Xbox game, dramatizing an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and the alien threat, Covenant.

The series stars Pablo Schreiber (“American Gods”) as Master Chief; Natascha McElhone (“Californication”) as Dr. Halsey, creator of the Spartan super soldiers; and Jen Taylor (“Halo” game series) as Cortana, the most advanced AI in human history and potentially the key to the survival of the human race.

We know that the 2nd episode of the series is called “unbound“, but the streaming service has not said anything about the premiere time of the new chapter. Fortunately, it’s possible to speculate about this based on the platform’s release history.

As Paramount+ usually releases new shows and episodes at 4am – including the premiere of “Halo” – it’s safe to say that the 2nd episode of “Halo” must be released from 4 am (Brasilia time) on the day March 31, 2022.

According to information shared by the streaming service, “Unbound” will see John taking Kwan to an old friend and learning more about the mysterious object, which Covenant and Makee are determined to steal. With the alien threat growing, Dr. Halsey comes up with a plan to deal with John’s unpredictable behavior.
