Flat design and larger screen for Apple Watch Series 7

Apple Watch Series 7 render

The design of the Apple Watch Series 7 that Apple may present next month along with the new iPhone 13 models is on the lips of all the specialized media. A new render shown by the 91mobiles website shows a square design, similar to the current iPhone on the sides and with a slightly larger screen.

Logically we have been talking about the possible design change of the Apple Watch for a long time and in this seventh generation it seems that it would be the moment. What we can see are images based on a CAD drawing filtered and rendered to shape.

It seems that the same leak indicates that the case of the watch would still be 40 and 44 mm but the screen in the case of the larger model would go from 1.73 inches that the current model has to 1.8 inches. We imagine that in the 40 mm model the screen will also be enlarged a little but no details about it appear in this new leak published a few minutes ago.

What is clear is that the new Apple Watch model could undergo an aesthetic change in this seventh generation. It will be necessary to see other details such as what will happen with the digital crown, the anchoring of the straps if it is compatible or not and other details. At the moment, what we are clear about is that, as she has been repeating herself several times, the screen of the new Apple Watch series 7 will be something bigger than what we currently have with Series 6. We are eager to see if this it is true or not, but there are still a few days to get answers.

It should be noted that a while ago we already saw some renderings with this square design on the sides, we will see if they finally become reality or not.
