for a couple of years and thank you to the European Union, every time we visit a web page that we have not visited previously, the first thing that is shown is a message, not a welcome one, that invites us to accept that our equipment accepts the cookies of that, tracking elements necessary for most of the webs, cookies that save user information and that come out of the equipment. Some websites, they do not allow us to access the content if we do not authorize said cookies, forcing us to give an additional click and hindering navigation.
If we use Chrome, the solution to this problem is to use one of the different extensions available in the Chrome Web Store, extensions that are automatically responsible for eliminating these messages so that they are displayed every time we visit a new web page. These these extensions, like all the extensions for Chrome, we can also use them in other browsers that are also based on Chromium, such as, for example, Edge, Opera, Brave or Vivaldiso if we use any of these browsers, we can also get rid of cookies using them.
The extensions that we show you below are ideal for those who usually browse anonymously, or have configured our browser so that, each time we close them, the browsing data is automatically deleted.
Cookie Notice Blocker
As its name describes, Cookie Notice Blocker is an extension that allows us to eliminate the message from web pages where they invite us to accept cookies. By making it disappear, neither accept nor reject, it is only making the message disappear, showing the web page as before the regulation of the European Union. However, like other extensions, it does not block the websites we visit from installing cookies on our device. This functionality is available in the browsing options of the browsers and it is not recommended to activate it, since, otherwise, we will not be able to access any website from the European Union.
I don’t care about cookies
I don’t care about cookies is one of the most popular extensions available on the Chrome Web Store to remove cookie messages. In fact, it is one of the featured extensions in the Google extensions store, so it is, we could say, a guarantee of success. The operation of the extension is as simple as clicking on the following link to install it on the computer and forget us forever of cookie messages.
The third and last extension that will allow us to block cookies is PopUpOFF, an extension that offers us three levels of blocking, depending on whether we only want to eliminate the cookie message or any other informative banner, such as notifications, popups and others. In addition, it allows us to create a White list of web pages from which we do want to receive notifications. The code for this extension is available on GitHub and we can download it from the Chrome Web Store through this link.
