four new cars are coming to the game

Forza Horizon 5 is expanding its catalog of available cars even further with four models never before seen in the game.

While the game Forza Horizon 5 has carved out a good place for itself on the consoles of Xbox players around the world, the latest nugget from Playgrounds Games does not intend to stop there and has just announced the arrival of four new cars, available to players within a few days.

No need to prolong the suspense any longer, the four models that will make their arrival in the game are respectively the NIO EP9, but also the Wuling Hongguang S, the MG MG3 and finally the MG XPower SVR. If these four names mean nothing to you, and you can’t imagine what might be hiding behind it, that’s normal.

These cars are Chinese, and therefore sold in the vast majority on the Middle Kingdom market, which explains why they are not very famous in the West.

A logical choice given the calendar … and the sales figures

To fully understand what prompted Playgrounds Games to make this announcement and to choose these models in particular, there are two major criteria to take into account. If the first is more about the calendar, with the Chinese New Year fast approaching, the second is much more commercial.

Indeed, Forza Horizon 5 is a real hit in China, it has also achieved the best start in the history of the license in the country. In order to thank the fans for such enthusiasm, the developers of this new installment in the Forza Horizon saga have therefore decided to add a bit of China to the very Mexican world of the game.

Other cars on the way

But beware, not all cars will be offered to the player as soon as he logs in for the first time, like a welcome gift. No, you will have to succeed in earning these cars. The studio has already announced that they can be unlocked during special events during the fourth season. With regard to the MG X-Power SVR it will also be necessary to be the holder of a Car Pass to be able to unlock it, a paying option therefore.

If Chinese cars mean nothing to you, Playgrounds Games has thought of you. Indeed, although the Chinese market is important, the rest of the world is just as important. And the iconic western cars must also have their place in the catalog, already very well supplied, of this new Forza Horizon.

In addition to the cars already present in the game, the development studio has therefore announced the imminent arrival of a Mazda 323 GT-R, but also a Volkswagen Golf R and above all a Porsche 911 Sport Classic, a very popular in general on car racing simulations, which could therefore quickly become the darling of gamers.
