India is becoming the new paradise for Apple. The fact that this country was one of the main ones when it came to manufacturing certain devices was already on track. It all started a few years ago but with the pandemic everything has accelerated. Considering the big and serious production problems in the years 2020 and 2021, especially in China, Apple decided that it could not afford something like that. That is why it has been decentralized and India has been a good choice. Now Foxconn is building a new factory where the new AirPods will come from.
Apple does not want the same thing to happen to it as in the pandemic and have production problems due to the political and health problems that arose in China. Apple suffered production problems and delivery times that were not very serious but enough so that the company did not look only at China. India has been one of his vital projects in where you have put a lot of interest. The country has done its homework and now one of Apple’s largest suppliers, Foxconn is going to build an AirPods manufacturing plant.
It has been the minister of the branch of India who has advanced the news and although Foxconn has not made it official, we assume that it will not take too long, seen what has been seen. KT Rama Rao’s tweet, IT Minister of the Indian state of Telangana, leaves no room for doubt and announces the inauguration of the first of Foxconn’s plants, located in Kongar Kalaan. Rao goes on to state that It will be an investment of 500 million dollars, above the original 200 million leaked by some sources some time ago. With this investment, it is estimated that 25,000 jobs will be created in its first phase.
