Frictional Games announces 'Amnesia: The Bunker', a new installment of the popular survival horror

Amnesia: The Bunker is the fourth and new installment of the popular horror franchise developed by Frictional Games, the seasoned independent studio of Swedish origin best known for its two main series, the vintage Gloom and the one that concerns us.

In fact, Frictional Games has not expanded beyond one or the other except for Somatitle sui generis that was successful and with which they seemed to want to open a new universe of fear, but no, in 2020 they returned with Amnesia: Rebirth and now they do the same with a new sequel.

Amnesia: The Bunker is the latest iteration of the Amnesia franchise, a first-person horror game set in a desolate World War I bunker.

Face the oppressive terrors that lurk in the dark corridors. Seek out and use the tools and weapons at your disposal, while keeping the lights on at all costs. Overcome the fear, persevere and get out alive.

In other words, Amnesia: The Bunker will be the usual survival horror, one closer to the classic graphic adventure genre than to action, with the atmosphere as the main creator of the concern, if not fear, which will surely seize the protagonist of this new story. And it is not necessary to put a thousand terrible monsters to make one’s hair stand on end, as the Amnesia franchise has previously shown.
