A taxi from the G7 company has lost control of its Tesla in the 13th arrondissement of the capital. In panic, the driver violently collided with a cyclist on rue d’Ivry, before continuing his race and mowing two other pedestrians at the intersection of rue Tolbiac.

Its mad race does not end there, the vehicle then having dashed at full speed into a container of glass waste. In shock, the container was thrown into the air and exploded on the ground. Then the taxi went head-on into a traffic light, before violently hitting another person. The Tesla Model 3 ended up in a van located at the corner of rue Tolbiac and avenues Ivry and de Choisy.

The toll is heavy: around ten injured people, including seven in absolute urgency and three relative. For the time being, we do not know the evolution of the situation. Shortly after the drama, the G7 taxi company has decided to suspend all its Tesla drivers, that is to say 37 employees according to the statements of the company.

For its part, Tesla says it is available to the authorities to transmit all the data it has on the vehicle concerned. Moreover, the manufacturer was clear on the subject: no technical faults were found on the car. However, this is not the driver’s version, which claims to have lost total control of his electric sedan. The investigation is ongoing.
