Galaxy A14 5G, an affordable mobile that adds value

Samsung has presented the Galaxy A14 5G at CES, an affordable smartphone intended for the entry-level range of the Android platform.

The Galaxy A14 5G is an update to the A13 presented in December 2021 and shares the same philosophy. A solution with sufficient features for a good part of users (or for use as a second mobile) that reinforces the lower part of the catalog of the world’s leading mobile phone producer. However, its screen is a little bigger and it has better resolution, better cameras and it is quite a bit cheaper. In fact, it is Samsung’s cheapest 5G phone.

The base of the terminal is made up of a polycarbonate chassis and a IPS screen large (6.6 inches) and with an adaptive refresh rate of 90 Hz. Its engine is a Dimensity 700 SoC that the Chinese manufacturer MediaTek offers for this range of terminals. It is manufactured in 7 nm technological processes and has 8 cores (2 Cortex A76 at 2.2 GHz and 6 Cortex A55 at 2 GHz) and a Mali-G57 MC2 integrated graphics. Includes a modem to support 5G networks.

The combination of RAM and built-in storage is typical for this level (4 GB + 64 GB). internal storage can be expanded with microSD memory cards up to 1 Tbyte. The battery is not bad at all with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and a fast charge of 13 watts.
