Information leaked last week, Samsung should present its Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro on August 10, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 And Z Flip 4. In all likelihood, these are therefore at least two models that will appear during the Unpacked conference of this summer. This is also what their certification with the FCC seems to confirm, la Federal Communications Commission in the United States.

This certification teaches us several things. First, Samsung is therefore ready to present its new models, whose technical sheet should therefore no longer change by the Galaxy Unpacked event. In addition, two models will be available. Indeed, the FCC listing indicates four code names: SM-R900, SM-R900X, SM-R920 and SM-R920X.

NFC, Wi-Fi 5 GHz, the technical sheet of the Galaxy Watch 5 is complete

Thus, the SM-R900 and SM-R900X models would correspond to the Galaxy Watch 5 40 nm and 44 nm respectively. In fact, the SM-R920 and SM-R920X versions are therefore the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which are distinguished by the presence or absence ofan NFC chip. In other words, some models will not be able to benefit from contactless payment. On the other hand, all will be compatible with 10W wireless charging. Also, remember that the Pro model should have a very large battery.

Unsurprisingly, they will also be ccompatible with Bluetoothand will connect to a network 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. As a reminder, previous leaks have mentioned better autonomy than on the Galaxy Watch 4 as well as the presence for the first time in the range of a thermometer to measure skin temperature.
